Non Trophy Hunting at Ngamatea

The hunts are all about having a great experience in fantastic country.

Not all hunters are seeking a trophy for the wall. Many simply want to enjoy the hunting experience and take home some venison. Management /meat hunts are our most popular hunts. They form the basis of our herd management, limiting the herd numbers and increasing the trophy potential by taking out inferior stags. The hunts are all about having a great experience in fantastic country.

Plenty of game will be seen each day along with numerous opportunities for hunters. We usually use vehicles to access areas, spot for deer, then stalk in on them.

Hunts can be tailored to individual needs, be it a youth hunt or someone less agile.

Non-trophy, management hunts cost $1,200 per day (24 hrs) + deer

$200 per hind

Cull stags from $300

A Guide can take up to 3 people.
